We designed and developed The Guide for Elder Abuse Response (GEAR) mobile application as a part of a joint program between the Los Angeles County Elder Abuse Forensic Center and the USC School of Gerontology. GEAR was developed for
healthcare providers, law enforcement officers, social services workers, and caregivers of older adults in Los
Angeles. The app provides practical information on abuse, tools, resources, and ways to report abuse.
