Get PrEP LA

Get PrEP LA is a program of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health to deliver Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in Los Angeles County. PrEP is an HIV prevention method that involves taking a daily pill to reduce the risk of infection.

“PrEP has the potential to slash the rate of HIV infections amongst our most vulnerable populations,” said Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas. “It’s a resource worth knowing about. PrEP promises to play a critical role in finally ending the HIV/AIDS epidemic.”

Creative Core created a robust website with information about PrEP and PEP for the public and for healthcare providers. It includes a comprehensive directory of providers that distribute PrEP and PEP. It is a bilingual website with Spanish translations. It is an important component of this initiative to reduce HIV infections LA County.
